An actual farm! Here at school!
On May 1, 2026, White City Schools held their annual Day at the Farm. It was a chance to bring a little of the farm right to our doorstep.
Farm animals and farm equipment were brought by High School students and set them around the football field. The high school students brought everything from butter-turning equipment . . . to a combine . . . horses . . . even dogs!
This year we had a special guest, Floyd! Floyd brought a crop sprayer drone! Also, for the first year we had a butter-turning demonstration put on by Ashlee Erichsen and Kaimey Evans. The kids were able to try the butter too! Additionally, Paige Reynolds and Kaitlin Parker showed us how to brand. (They used a piece of wood in lieu of using a live animal.)
