This year's prom was a night to remember! The White City Prom took place on April 11, 2026. Once again, students danced the night away in the Little Gym.
We asked Junior Kaitlin Parker about selecting the Prom theme. Kaitlin said, “It was a hard decision because my class wouldn't agree on one.” The theme they finally selected for this year's prom was “Glitz and Glamour.”
The school opened at 6 pm for students - Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors - to take pictures in the Little Gym before the promenade!
At 6:30 pm, the students and their families headed over to the Fellowship Hall on Main Street. There, all of the kids lined up in the promenade. There was no specific set order for the promenade.
Once the promenade concluded, the students went into the Fellowship Hall and enjoyed a very tasty meal! The meal was provided by the Junior Class parents. Students had a choice of brisket, macaroni and cheese, salad, green beans, mashed potatoes with a choice of bacon and cheese. The parents provided tasty drinks too. Diners had the option of pink lemonade, tea, or water. The servers for this meal were Landon Roberson, Jameson Lautt, and Ely Benner.
Once everyone was full of good food, they got a ride on a bus back to the school. Everyone danced the night away until 11 pm! Then, at 11 pm, prom people headed out to Fort Riley for After Prom!
