Students are helping students!
The most recent Y-link conference was held on Tuesday February 10th. Attending the conference were: Jeremiah Peterson, Cash Hayes, Atley Johnson, Reagan Fiest, Lilliana Stilwell, Kaimey Evans, Addyson Wingert, Teagan Traynor, Emmy Lou Morris, and Josh Lautt.
The Y-Link sponsor was Mrs. Kasten. We asked Atley Johnson how her experience was. Atley says that her experience was, “good.” Atley says it was very fun to be around State Senator Mike Argabright (pictured in the above photo with students.)
Y-link members have many meetings on how to help people to help make the little kids in the school. There are many opportunities that Y-link members participate in during the Y-link conference. Y-Link supports a youth conference annually to celebrate the successes of its local groups. National speakers join the youth, attend breakout learning sessions on multiple topics, and have a lot of fun!
During the conference students did many activities such as: coloring a picture and describing how we cope with stress.
