Scholar’s Bowl recently scored big at Solomon.
Rural Vista's Varsity Scholars Bowl team brought home the gold on Monday, January 29th. The team competed in 4 rounds of competition. The team won all four of the rounds. I asked one of the “Scholars Bowlers” how they felt they did at the meet. I asked Jameson Lautt, who is a Freshman player from White City. Jameson stated, “I felt like we did good and I feel like we all did our best and worked together to achieve the gold medal at Solomon."
Round 1 RV win over Herington: 60-50
Round 2 RV win against Canton-Galva: 40-20
Round 3 RV beat Wakefield: 30-20
Round 4 Solomon loses to RV: 50-20
Hadley Friedli led the team, answering 7 questions correctly. Kevin Smith also answered 7 questions correctly. Paige Linder buzzed in and answered 2 questions correctly. Malkahi Kramer and Jameson Lautt each buzzed in and answered one question correctly.
