The Christmas Shoppe is an annual event that takes place every December. It is held in the school library and little gym. The library’s tables are usually filled to the brim with different kinds of items for sale. The prices for these items are anywhere from $1 to $40.

This year the Christmas Shoppe is taking place on December 19th and will be open during the entire school day. Items being sold at the Christmas Shoppe usually consist of a variety of things such as: candles, clothing, ornaments, and other decorative items.

The Christmas Shoppe usually consists of 2 sections, being the shop itself and the wrapping area. After students are done buying items in the library, they head down to the little gym with a partner from 8th-11th grade and wrap the gifts for their families.

Mr Crable, the Senior Class sponsor, has hosted the Christmas Shoppe since 2016.  Although Mr. Crable is officially retired, he still interacts with different things around the school.  For example, he is head of the Track team, the Senior class sponsor, and a helper for drivers education.  Mr. Crable says that his favorite part of the Christmas Shoppe is, “Seeing the enthusiasm of all the little kids when buying presents for their families”. One of the seniors this year told us that his favorite part of the Christmas Shoppe is helping the little kids find presents.

Special thanks to all of the members of the community who have donated and helped with the Christmas Shoppe
