In November, White City Schools participated in a Fall Food Drive in order to give back to the community. People were asked to donate food like boxed goods, noodles and anything that wouldn't expire.  This Food Drive included grades PreK through 12. Other community members could also be generous and donate food items and clothing. They were able to donate food from the 3rd to the 21st. There was no limit to how many food items everyone could donate.

All together there were 516 food items donated!  The most generous class was first grade with 123 items. Way to go, school!

After the food drive was complete. High school students drove the food up to the Community Building, so community members could receive food.  High school students sorted the items into 4 categories. These categories were: Fruits, noodles, vegetables and desserts. Many more items were donated like: coats, socks, hats, mittens, scarves and socks.
