It’s time to celebrate student accomplishments during the first quarter of the school year.
The first quarter assembly of the school year was held on Friday October, 17, 2025. Students, teachers and proud parents were present for the event. Multiple awards were given out, including “PACKS”, perfect attendance and “Pawsitive” office referrals. The latter are given out for outstanding behavior to students. During the assembly, about 46 percent of the current student body received perfect attendance rewards.
During the assembly, many students received PACKS awards. PACKS stands for ‘Problem Solving,’ ‘Accountability,’ ‘Citizenship,’ ‘Kindness,’ and Sportsmanship. PACKS awards are given out by teachers every quarter to students who set outstanding examples for their fellow classmates and lower classmen. The students who received these awards through 1st through 12th grade consisted of the following:
Elementary

2nd grade - Kynlee Engel
3rd grade - Harper Herndon
4th grade -Emma Calvert

These students went above and beyond for their class in order to receive these awards. Following the awards, Mr Hensley wrapped up the assembly. The assembly lasted about an hour - from 2 to 3 pm.
