October 10th 2025 was a great day for Rural Vista Football.
For the Hope Homecoming game, Rural Vista faced off against Lebo. The final score ended up being 48-0, with a RV victory.
At the beginning of the game, Rural Vista received the kickoff and got a touchdown on the first play. RV went for a two point conversion but failed. On the kickoff, Lebo got the ball but at first they didn't get far into the field. However, on fourth down, Lebo played a deep pass and successfully made it deep into the field. Before they could get a touchdown, Koden Sanford (#1) made a tackle right on the edge of the endzone. On third down, Lebo went for a short pass in the endzone, but Tyler Brockmeier swatted the ball before it got to the receiver. The great defense of RV got to the best of Lebo, and the ball ended up being turned over on downs.
On the following drive, Kole Reidy made a successful running play and ran all the way in for a touchdown. RV went for two points, but unfortunately did not make it. RV did a deep kickoff, and Lebo did not get much yardage on the return.
After a couple more plays, Lebo threw an interception and Koden Sanford ran it for around 20 yards deep. Soon after, Rural Vista scored a touchdown On the conversion, Koden Sanford ran it in the endzone for two points.
For the rest of the shortened game, Lebo failed to score and Rural Vista continued dominating the game. RV won the game by forfeiture at half-time.
