Parents and teachers are united in White City.
P.A.W.S. (People Always Willing to Support) is a parent-teacher volunteer organization committed to assisting the school and community.
Currently, P.A.W.S. has 12 members, and is actively seeking more volunteers to join. Recent activities include donating supplies for teachers and students and stocking the teacher's lounge with snacks. Teachers might ask at the beginning of the school year for things like Kleenex or hand sanitizer.
During a meeting on September 16, 2025, members discussed fundraising plans, including a tailgate event after sports games and a concession stand at the homecoming football game. Other topics of conversation were providing lunch for the high school volleyball team and creating a banner with personalized plaques to recognize new members of the kennel club.
To raise funds and promote school spirit, the organization is selling old apparel and designing new Rural Vista merchandise, such as hats, shirts, blankets, and bleacher seats.
