homecoming

It’s that time again!  The time when we watch the students dress their best to impress.  It’s part of the tradition to crown a King and Queen as part of the Homecoming celebrations. The purpose of having a homecoming is to bring together the alumni and the current students.  It’s a fun day to welcome back former students, and for them to see that the traditions continue.

Last week saw the coronation for fall Homecoming.  The coronation was held on Friday September 19th.  Thankfully, the weather decided to cooperate, providing a pleasant evening for the ceremonies.

Students vote for King and Queen during the school day. The votes were added up to determine the winner.  The King was head quarterback Koden Sanford.  The Queen was Harmony Otte.

The escorts were Freshmen: Atley Johnson, and Landon Rice.  The Sophomores were: Kim Davis. The Juniors were: Kaitlin Parker, and Karson Snyder. The “little people” were Kilyn Hensley, Kacyn Riedy, Bo Morgan, and Nate Beavers. The king candidates were: Trent Hoff, Kole Riedy, and Koden Sanford. The Queen candidates were Kayley Benner, Harmony Otte, and Journey Peterson.

Congratulations to all the royalty right here in White City!
