SpiritWeek

This week once again brings around Winter Homecoming.  The week before Homecoming is Spirit Week.  We celebrate Homecoming by dressing up every day leading up to the game. Let’s see the themes for this year’s Homecoming.

On Friday, January 26, 2024, students wore their Chiefs gear to support the Chiefs against the Ravens. (Good luck to the Chiefs in the Superbowl!)

Monday was “Pajama Day.”  We saw many students with their pajama pants and comfy outfits.

On Tuesday, we enjoyed “Pink Out Day.”  So many people showed up to school decked out in their best pink!  High school had a game against Peabody that night, with many parents and spectators supporting by wearing pink.

On Wednesday, it was “Western Day.” Many people came to school wearing their outfits, all dressed up with spirit.

Thursday was “Decade Day.”  Eighth grade had 00s, Freshman with 60s, Sophomores got 90s, Juniors had 70s, and finally Seniors had 80s.

On Friday the spirited students of the school showed up wearing their Heat gear, demonstrating once and for all their excess pride. At the pep rally on Friday afternoon, there was a competition to decide who was the most spirited.  Journey Peterson and Dusty Carson were our winners.  Congratulations to them!  Thanks to all for being so spirited!
