On January 26, 2024, we had the chance to wear Chiefs clothing, or a red color to support the Chiefs. We enjoyed seeing so many kids at White City Schools participating in this support of the local team. Many people showed up wearing their jerseys and attire. We asked Kreyton Anderson if he thinks the Chiefs will win. His response was, “I think the Chiefs will win by seven.” Kreyton was not the only excited student. Heidi Bahret said, “My favorite player is Patrick Mahomes.” Rowdy Fiest was obviously excited too. He said, “I’m so excited for the Chiefs game. They’re my favorite team.” Sheldon Effland really likes the Chiefs too. He said, “I like the Chiefs because of Butker.” One favorite player here at White City is Travis Kelce, a KC Chiefs tight end. He’s getting a lot of attention for dating Taylor Swift, the pop star. We asked Adddyson Smith what her thoughts were on Taylor. She said, “I think it’s pretty cool. I really like her.”
The Chiefs played on January 28, 2024. They beat the Ravens 10-7. This puts them into the Superbowl. Great job!
