On Wednesday, September 13, the reinvigorated Music Program at White City had their Christmas Program.  The program is led by Mr. Ben Schierling. The 3rd graders sang first. They sang “Christmas Day is Come” and “Somewhere in my Memory.” Kindergarteners sang “Over the River and Through the Woods” and “Rudolf the Red-Nosed Reindeer.” Next, the first graders sang “O Come LIttle Children,” and “Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town.”  After that, The second graders sang “Up On the Housetop” and “Mary Had a Baby.”  Then, the fourth graders sang “Jolly Old St. Nicholas” and “Go Tell it on the Mountain.”  While the fourth graders were singing, the Jr High Band came up to the stage to get their instruments ready.  This allowed for a seamless transition.  After the fourth graders finished singing, the curtains were opened for The Jr High Band to start playing. The Jr High Band played “Jingle Bells” and “Carol of the Bells.” The Jr High Choir played “Winter Fantasy,” “Silver Bells,” and “Cold December.” Amanda Friedli played the piano. Koden, Parker, and Walter played guitars. Quentin sang the songs, while the Jr High Choir played the songs. At the end of the program, the entire group sang “Joy to the World,” and “We Wish You a Merry Christmas.”  Thanks to the students and Mr. Schierling for the holiday musical entertainment!
