On Monday, November 20, 2023, Rural Vista Middle School girls and boys played a home game against Centre. The girls won 41-7. #23 Kaimey Evans scored 20 points. Kaimey Evans said, referring to the team’s performance, “The game went by quickly with a good win.” #4 Lilliana Stilwell racked up 11 points. #21 Kim Davis and #10 Reagan Fiest each scored 5 points. In the 3rd quarter, Lilliana Stilwell and Kaimey Evans had back to back three point shots. The girls have so far won against Saint Xavier, Marion, Bennington, Herington, Centre, Wakefield. They have accumulated an impressive record of 6 wins and 1 loss. Their one loss came to Elyria. The Middle School boys have a record of 2 wins and 5 losses. Members of the current team include: #15 Nolan Effland, #5 Jerret Allen #1 Cameron Mystic #22 Wyatt Hunicutt #44 Oren Suskey. Nolan, Jerret (Brayden), and Oren attend White City. Wyatt and Cameron go to Hope. Unfortunately, the middle school boys lost the game against Centre, with a score of 19-45.
