ChristmasTree

On Wednesday, November 29th 2023, the 9-12 White City high schoolers decorated their class Christmas trees. Ninth Grade's theme for their Christmas tree was “Hawaii.”  The Tenth Grade theme for their Christmas tree was “sports.” The Junior class theme for their Christmas tree was “Kansas.” The Senior’s theme for their Christmas tree was “The Penguin.”  Ninth grade Christmas trees were decorated with Hawaiian necklaces, blow-up beach balls and fish, beach themed ornaments, lights, and a starfish for the top. They put their names on reindeers and Santa ornaments. Tenth grade decorated their tree with red, black, and orange ornaments. They had a football helmet at the top of the tree. They put a volleyball, a basketball, and a football at the bottom of the tree. They wrote their names on sport themed ornaments. Juniors decorated their Christmas tree with red, blue, purple, and white ornaments. These are the colors of our largest state universities.  They also had sunflowers and lights on their tree. Juniors put a Kansas flag at the top of the tree. Seniors decorated their Christmas tree with orange paper for the feet and mouth, white and black paper for the eyes, belly, and arms. The year when they graduate - 2024 - was written on the penguin’s belly. They write their names on gray ornaments. They placed a red scarf and lights on the tree.
