On Tuesday, Oct 24, 2023, the White City High School went on a trip to the Hutchison Career Fair. The Hutchinson Career Fair is a large event, where students can walk around and experience all manner of different jobs. “The Career Fair offers a fantastic opportunity to network with top employers one-on-one and give you a chance to meet a lot of them quickly.” says one of the employees, as given on the official website for the Career Fair. The student will gather insightful data. The student is able to go up and talk to the representatives at each booth. Each booth was given to a different school/college. There were up to 400 different booths in total. For school purposes, each student was tasked with going up to at least five booths. They also were asked to subscribed to each school's mailing list. This will keep them informed about the school. This student journalist went around and asked a few students about how they liked it; they answered that, generally, they had lots of fun. It helped t hem narrow down their career choices.
