Recently, Junior High and High School have started playing basketball. Junior High basketball started before high school. Thus far, Junior High Boys and Girls have played three games.The first game was against St. Xavier in White CIty. This was a victory. Next, the team played Marion In Hope. Again, the girls came out on top. The third game was in Bennington against Bennington. Continuing their dominance, the girls won for the third time in a row. Next, they beat Herington in Herington. The girls are 4-0 and the boys are 2-2.
Obviously, for the girls, their practice paid off on the court. The boys are still in the hunt. On November 16, Junior High Girls and Boys will have a basketball game in Herington. We have a long season yet to come. Overall, spirits are up. “So far in the season the games have gone really well.”- Lilliana Stilwell
