Last week 4th and 9th grade took a trip to the Strataca Salt mine. They learned how salt is mined and processed for our use. We were able to see the multiple layers in the rock as we were 650 ft below ground. Each student brought home a salt rick that formed millions of years ago and was originally mined 80yrs ago! It was a very cool experience.
