Fred Rock, Regina Polok, Pam Krause, Sara Hunnicutt, all Hope Alumni, all the driving force behind the new Little Lion's Learning Center. This group makes up the board for the learning center and one of their first decisions was to name Roberta Elliot, also a Hope High School Alumni, director of the new center. The groups partners with USD 481 in using the Hope school preschool building as the home of the learning center. The learning center also will be getting most of their meals provided in an arrangement with USD 481.
Childcare shortages are a major issues across all small towns in the state of Kansas right now so we are grateful for this group that set out to make this happen. Not only has this center given the people of Hope a childcare options, it has also brought 7 new jobs to the town.
